Pick for me now
Start a recommendation with one action when there is no time for questions.
Portfolio 02 · Live web app
A personalized recommendation app that turns “What should we do today?” into a quick, playful choice.
The challenge
Even choosing one meal can depend on taste, weather, time of day, and what someone picked recently. Pure randomness alone rarely feels like a recommendation that understands the situation.
The product therefore offers three decision paths in one service, so people can start immediately and add context only when they want to.
The approach
Start a recommendation with one action when there is no time for questions.
Use three quick answers to narrow the mood and conditions for the moment.
Compare candidates head to head until one option wins the day.

Project result
Food, dessert, drinks, things to watch, bar snacks, and songs share one interface. Answers, exclusions, weather, time, and recent choices can shape the recommendation, while food results can lead to nearby places or sharing.
Preference history stays in the current browser, and location use is explained as limited to weather and nearby search when needed. Metadata, structured data, the sitemap, and on-page FAQs help search engines and answer services understand the product and how it works.
